PS5 stock – live: John Lewis, Currys PC World, EE restocks available now

And we are back! There are currently consoles available from Amazon for £499.99 which includes a copy of Forbidden Horizon West.

It also looks like we are currently in stock at BT Shop, EE and To analyse the first two being available to existing customers. The stock that was available at john lewis and curries has since sold out, but it seems to have sold out pretty quickly.

There should be no doubt that it will, but of course it’s only a matter of time. Reports have noted that given its previous track record, the company will launch a slimmer version of the console in 2023 or 2024, which is around three years after the PS5 was released. Yes you can! The vast majority of PS4 games you own are playable on the PS5. You’ll be able to download any games you’ve purchased through the PlayStation Store onto your PS4 and play them on the next-gen console.

If you have the PS5 Disc Edition, you will also be able to insert your PS4 discs there and play them that way as well. Obviously, since there’s no physical disc slot on the digital console edition, you won’t be able to play any PS4 discs you own. Smyths Toys last had an online restock on May 25 at 10am. So if you’re wondering when he’ll make his next delivery, you’re not alone. But, judging by the retailer’s website, PS5 stock is expected at some point this month (we know, not very specific). With that in mind, we’ll be checking Smyths Toys very regularly to make sure you’re kept up to date.

Amazon the latter had a restock of the Disc Editing Console on June 21 and the Digital Editing Console on the same date. Both times the stock ran out in less than an hour. The retailer usually releases the PS5 Disc Edition before the PS5 Digital Edition, so be aware if you see one live before the other.

On July 14, 2021, Amazon made the console exclusively available to Prime members for the first time, which could be useful in combating scalping bots in the future. Since then, the console has only been available to Prime customers.

As it stands, we’re not sure when exactly Amazon will restock, but our best advice is to make sure you’re a Prime member – you can sign up for a 30 day free trial.

In case you didn’t already know, Sony has a new virtual reality headset on the way. It was designed to work exclusively with the PS5 and is called PlayStation VR2. The tech giant hasn’t yet announced when it will release the new device, but we’d guess it will be in the fall. If you haven’t gotten your hands on the all-new console yet, we recommend getting one now. The PS5 is available to buy now from John Lewis & Partners (£629.99, Johnlewis.com).

But once you’ve ordered it, it’s time to think about what games you can play on it. And when it comes to options coming this year, there’s plenty to cheer about. For instance, Wander will be available from July 19, while The Last of Us Pat I will be launched in September.
