After expressing his opinion on the U.S. Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade, the Pokimane streamer shared disgusting messages she received in response to her position.
On June 25, SCOTUS overturned Roe v. Wade removing federal protection from abortion laws. This means that each of the 50 United States has the right to ban abortion, with several states already doing so.
Several Twitch streamers took to Twitter to voice their opinions on the decision. Pokimane, one of the biggest streamers on Twitch, vehemently opposed the cancellation of Roe v. Wade.
The Canadian streamer currently resides in California and said she had booked a ticket to return to her home country following the “depressing” news. Later that evening, she would share disgusting messages sent to her by someone wanting to impregnate her.

Pokimane posted a screenshot of the text messages she received on her second Twitter account Iman. She masked the name of the sender but left the content of the messages readable.
The posts read “You’re so hot on Twitch. Ready to soak Poki. Now that abortions have been removed, watch out cause I’m about to knock on your door.

A NintendoFanGirl YouTuber commented in favor of Poki and then shared her own gruesome encounter with the same messenger. She said: “Not even 20 minutes after commenting on this, the same loss is in my inbox…”
She shared a screenshot of the messages sent to her. The anonymous messenger degraded his appearance, insulted his intelligence and described the explicit actions they perform.

NintendoFanGirl revealed that the messages came from an email and she hid them to protect the innocent people involved. “In cases like this, they often end up being stolen or filled with someone else’s information, leading to an innocent person being doxed,” she said.
Pokimane had no further comment regarding the situation, but we’ll be sure to update this story if more information becomes available.
