A new line of Pokemon x Irregular Choice merchandise has been revealed, which includes a wide range of Pokemon-themed clothing and accessories. Among the items that will be sold as part of the lineup are shoes, bags, socks, tights, and more, all of which feature various Pokémon creatures and bright colors.
What is the Pokemon x Irregular Choice collaboration?
The collaboration between Pokemon and the famous London-based fashion label isn’t the first line of Pokemon clothing, but it’s certainly one of the most over-the-top.
As part of the official Pokemon x Irregular Choice collection which launches on April 29, there are a number of limited edition products which include colorful stubs which feature Squirtle, Charmander, Bulbasaur and Jigglypuff as well as a 3D model of Pikachu . There’s also a pair of Walk It Out sneakers that look like Converse high tops, but have a design that has a Poke Ball tongue and the three original starters alongside Pikachu and Butterfree.
More offbeat merchandise includes a second pair of heels with an integrated heel terrarium that houses a Squirtle in one foot and an Eevee in the other. There are also several purses with different Pokemon on the patterns, a selection of slip-on shoes, vibrant pink socks and tights with a giant Pikachu jumping on them.
Finally, the Pokemon x Irregular Choice line offers several scarves to complete the collection. Those who want to jump at the chance to get some of these products, however, will have to act quickly, as several items are already out of stock.
2022 should be a busy year for Pokemon. Following the launch of Pokemon Legends: Arceus in January and Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl late last year, the end of 2022 will see Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet hit stores. These open-world remakes are coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch and will include three new starter Pokémon.
In other news, a new leaked video for Skull and Bones showed new multiplayer and gameplay footage, while Balan Woderworld director Yuji Naka has spoken out following his lawsuit with Square Enix.
