PlayStation’s Shuhei Yoshida Teases Two Unreleased Games, One of Them Looks Like Souls

As we move forward into the year 2022, more and more games from various developers and publishers have started to come out into the open for gamers to while away their time. While February has already been a stacked month with great games coming out, more video games are also on the way.

Through a series of tweets, former PlayStation Studios boss and current Sony indie evangelist Shuhei Yoshida shared a list of games he’s played. While the list starts fairly normally, with games like Forbidden Horizon West, Sifu, and Genshin Impact, it gets very interesting when he mentions that he also played two unreleased tracks. One of them is apparently a puzzle-action game, and another is Soulslike. He clarified in the following post that the unpublished Soulslike is not the next FromSoftware game Ring Elden,.

What’s even more surprising is the fact that current PlayStation boss Herman Hulst also joined in the conversation, commenting on what a tease Yoshida is. Since Yoshida deals with indie games for the console, one can assume that both games are most likely made by a team of indie developers, but maybe not necessarily. But our guess is as good as anyone else’s, so the only thing we can all do is wait and watch how it all plays out.
