Nintendo Switch players will soon be able to get their hands on adorable simulation Ooblets.
The game is slated to arrive on Nintendo’s console on September 1, after going into early access on PC (via Epic) and Xbox.
“We’ve been working on Ooblets…for the past SIX years and it’s finally hitting version 1.0,” the developer tweeted earlier this week, before revealing the game’s Switch debut.
Those who want to get their hands on Ooblets – a mix of farming, creature collecting, and dancing (a trifecta) – can pre-order it on the Nintendo Storewhere it currently enjoys a 33% discount.

As for this 1.0 release, well, it will include all of the previous content seen in Early Access, along with new locations, new quests, and the long-awaited conclusion to the main storyline.
If you’re not sure if Ooblets is the game for you, here’s what Malindy had to say about it when she tried it out:
“Because people need easy shortcuts to tell if something interests them, Ooblets has often been called ‘Stardew Valley meets Pokémon,’ but it really does have a style all its own.
“It’s very colorful, with menu items and notifications bouncing around you, everything is full of round shapes and ice cream colors. The townspeople are all very stylish, the furniture store sells items with a certain Nordic touch… Play Ooblets for nice little things like that nice shine effect on the dance battle cards or a mushroom-shaped ooblet doing the Floss.
“Don’t expect this to be the next Pokémon or Stardew Valley. It isn’t, and it doesn’t have the ambition to be.”
