The liberation of Terror Metroid is fast approaching and it looks like Japan isn’t the only one supporting MercurySteam’s upcoming Nintendo Switch release.

In Mexico, a large billboard has been spotted and some fans of the famous intergalactic bounty hunter are in disbelief. Again, that’s the conclusion of the original Metroid saga we’re talking about here – no big hitters like Super Mario, THE Legend of Zelda, Where Animal crossing. It’s a serie some seem to think it hasn’t been highlighted enough over the years, so it’s fantastic to see these kinds of ads popping up.

Perhaps Nintendo is feeling confident after the success of the game’s pre-release – with the title topping the best-selling charts and pre-orders just days after its announcement. In addition to the banners being shown in many places around the world, Nintendo also promoted Metroid Dread with reports and social media posts. This week he released a new ad:

Will you be trying out Metroid Dread when it arrives on October 8th? Let us know in the comments.
