Nintendo apparently accidentally shares new Xenoblade Chronicles 3 key art

Nintendo seems to have made a mistake and accidentally shared the new official key art for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 on their website. Twitter user ActualAero caught wind of it and shared it on the platform. It’s unclear if this will be the box art, but there’s a good chance it will be. The actual image link strongly implies that it is genuine with the domain name reading assets. nintendo.

Similar to the box arts of the previous series, the cast is depicted atop a lush green field.

During the last Nintendo Direct, the publisher announced a new upcoming project from Monolith Soft, Xenoblade Chronicles 3. The game’s narrative will tie together elements and storylines from the previous two main games, Xenoblade Chronicles and Xenoblade Chronicles 2. The flutes seem to play a vital role in the title’s premise.

Players witness the journeys of protagonists Noah and Mio as they grapple with a conflict between the nations of Keves and Agnus. 6 characters will be at the heart of the experience, and the broad concept of “life” will be the central theme of the title. Moreover, this new world connects the futures of Xenoblade Chronicles and Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

Xenolame is a series that originated from the Nintendo Wii, with the first title having received a recent remake on Nintendo Switch. The second game is also on the platform, which makes Xenolam X the only exception.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 releases on Nintendo Switch in September 2022.
