Mario Golf: Super Rush’s first review is now live

There are plenty of Nintendo Switch games to look forward to, but an upcoming release that’s just around the corner is Mario Golf: Super Rush. In fact, it’s coming out next week!

Before the last entry, famous Japanese publication Famitsu shared the very first review of the game. As you may already know, this outlet uses a special system in which four reviewers rate the game between one and ten and then combine scores to create a grade out of 40.

So how did Super Rush go on Nintendo Switch? According to a translation courtesy of Nintendo Everything, three reviewers rated the game eight out of ten and one rated it nine out of ten, bringing the overall score to 33 out of 40..

The new speed golf mode seems to have received good feedback and the adventure mode is also welcome. And just like the previous entries, the latter apparently does a great job of bringing out “the best things about golf” and guiding users through its controls.

The previous entry – Mario Golf: Around the world, which was released for the Nintendo 3DS in 2014, had a higher score – 34 out of 40. Two reviews gave it an eight and two reviews gave it a nine out of ten (thanks, Gematsu).

Keep an eye out for our own Nintendo Life review of Mario Golf: Super Rush later this week. Do you think you are coming back to the fairway? Leave a comment below.
