In Life is Strange: True Colors the players take on the role of Alex Chen, a young woman navigating in early adulthood in Haven Springs, a mountain town where she connects with her long-lost brother and is part of a tight-knit community – her brother having moved there in search of their long lost father. Amidst this backdrop, Alex struggles to come to terms with a “curse” she has endured her entire life: having the psychic power of empathy, a supernatural ability that allows her to experience, absorb and to influence the strong emotions of others – which she considers flamboyant, colorful auras.
When his brother dies in a suspicious accident, Alex must finally embrace his volatile power to uncover the truth and uncover the dark secrets buried in a small town. Alex Chen’s journey, power, and future are entirely in the player’s control. Alex Chen must use her psychic power of empathy to solve a mystery that will make her question everyone and everything she’s learned to know in the quaint little town of Haven Springs.
Moved by the full performance capture of rising talent Erika Mori, players will sail to Haven Springs as Alex Chen, a young woman who has long suppressed her “curse”: the psychic power of empathy, an ability supernatural that allows her to experience, absorb and influence the strong emotions of others – which she sees as flaming and colorful auras.
