EB Games is about to launch an online marketplace called Zing Marketplace. It will be a place where Australians can list retro video games, collectible cards and other pop culture collectibles for sale. Unlike eBay, people will not bid for these items, instead they will be listed for a price of their choice, which can be negotiated between the seller / buyer. EB Games will also list Zing items on the Marketplace at a Buy It Now price. Playstation 1

Regarding in-game items, EB Games will not allow listing of PS4 / PS5 / Xbox Series X / Nintendo Switch games / consoles on Zing Marketplace, unless they are Collector’s Edition or Edition consoles. limited. The consoles / games that they will allow to be listed are below: EB Games will also list Zing items on the market, although they are available at a buy-it-now price (supposedly for the same price they are). listed on the EB Games website for).

On the website, you can find sections for collectible cards, Pop! Vinyls, collectibles, retro games, toys and hobbies, books and movies, and housewares. EB Games is expected to charge a fee on the sale, an amount that we believe has yet to be decided. The Zing Marketplace is expected to launch in the coming weeks. You can check out the website here, but it doesn’t seem like regular people can list anything yet.

We’ll be excited to see how it goes after its official launch. While we suspect that your regular person might still choose to go to Facebook Marketplace, I think it could become a place for collectors to list items that only other collectors might appreciate. If EB Games moderates it properly then this could be a great place to buy / sell valuables.
