With the GO season comes to an end, and the Season of Light take over, you’ll have plenty to do in the world of Pokemon GO. You’ll want to make sure you come back to this game if you haven’t, because the tropical paradise of Alola makes its grand entrance in the title. Finding new Pokemon is always fun, and with these creative monsters you’ll have plenty to do.
However, if you want to add some new Legendary monsters to your team, you will have your work cut out. With the sun and moon entries into the franchise, they introduced Cosmog, a legendary no one knew was one until the game was finally dropped. Let’s get into the details of what makes this monster unique and what you will need to do in Pokemon GO to work with them!
Cosmog in Pokemon GO – How to Evolve Them
If you’ve been away from the game for a while, the world of Pokemon has come a long way over the past few years. Released for Nintendo 3DS in 2016, the sun and moon titles introduced Cosmog through a trailer, and players were ready to see where they could find them in the game, especially because of their unique appearance.
What fans didn’t know, until they made their way through these games, was that Cosmog wasn’t a common Pokemon, but rather a Legendary which could evolve, marking a first for the series. Normally you could only find a legendary at a specific story beat, and that was all they were, but Cosmog changed the game, in more ways than one.
What makes Cosmog especially interesting is the fact that they don’t just have 1 total evolution, transforming into Cosmombut an extra two evolutionswith the possibility of evolving either Soleago or Lunala, a fire lion or a moonlit bat, respectively. This would normally change depending on the title you purchased, but in the world of Pokemon GOyou can get one or the other.
If you are looking to upgrade your Cosmog in its average evolution Cosmomall you have to do is provide it 25 Candies to make this change. However, if you’re looking to reach its full potential, you’ll have to fight your way out into the wild world and either capture morebattle in Raids against them, or go for walks earn a total of 100 Candies. After doing this you will be ready to evolve them either Soleago during the day or Lunala at night, so make sure you’re ready to go out!
That’s all there is to know about these new legendary monsters coming to the game!
